The world came to know “Alpo” from the movie, but the movie never touched the surface of who Albert really was during the drug era of the 1980’s nor did it tell the entire story of all 3 individuals that were portrayed in the movie. Albert is more than a drug dealer, a guy who killed an associate and someone who snitched on a friend.
Albert is a lover of people. He is a protector, a friend and one of the most revered street celebrities one has ever seen. Come on another journey with Ms. Tee to get to know ALBERT.
This is a love story about two people who understood each other, cared for each other and vowed to protect each other in a world that prejudged them for being unapologetically who they are.

This story/book is heartfelt,captivating and a little shocking. It is a quick read and gets straight to the point. I really loved the connection these two shared. Alpo loved Ms.Tee to pieces! He loved her deeply! He invested so much in her with his time,love,protection and affection. At times he was very possessive over her to the point where it was alarming. He was obsessed with her. But you have to buy the book to read about it and why he was the way he was with her. This book will make you believe in love and friendship again. Most people could only dream to find a bond and love like their’s.

Big fan from Germany here ! I love Ms. Tee as an author and I´ve read all of her books. “Beautiful Gangsta” is another fantastic read ! It´s totally worth the price, because it´super honest and captivating. I couldn´t put the book down, read it in 3 hours. If you are interested in the Alpo story, you will find so many enlightening details. Ms. Tee gives the reader an honest and intimate overview of her relationship with the notorious Alberto Martinez. I really enjoyed the Whats App chat between her and Alpo., which was masterfully interwoven into the text. Keep writing these amazing books, Ms. Tee !!! Much love from Germany

Listen, this book was a quick read so you will find yourself reading it again just because.
I initially purchased this book because I wanted to know more about Alpo from a woman’s point of view. The men whether it be on social media or YouTube always seem to stop at the “snitch or “rat talk like that’s all he was. Perhaps Po stole their gf or wife in the 80s and they still mad lmao.
Beautiful Gangsta however lets you know that Alpo stood ten toes down in whatever he said or did and didn’t let anyone back him into a corner. He was a man’s man that lived his life on his terms.. I never met Alpo myself ,but if he could make me burst out laughing through a book I know he would have me rollin’ in person lol

I loved this quick read. I was waiting for this book to drop and when I got my hands on it, I couldn’t put it down. This book was just nothing but honesty, laughs and some moments where you really had to think. I used to think being Gangster was about being from the street and getting money. From reading this book from Ms.Tee and her experience with Alpo, I have a better and more positive outlook on the word Gangster. I can’t wait for more books Ms.Tee. I encourage everyone and anyone to buy this book and actually read it. Definitely worth the time and the money.
